WE ARE LOOKING TO FIND A LOCAL HYBRID ANALYST; SOMEONE EQUALLY SKILLED IN ACTING AS A BA AND CREATING REQUIREMENTS AND HAS EXPERIENCE IN QA TESTING (MANUAL),CREATE TEST SCENARIOS AND UNIT TEST.

As a Business Analyst, ideal candidates must be able to define and analyze customer's business/functional requirements and communicate those requirements for small-to-large sized projects to the I.S. dept (peers) in functional terms and some technical terms. The BA must have a proven track record of writing business functional requirements documents for systems to be implemented. Additionally, the BA must be able to explain information technology solutions to the customer in non-technical, layman's terms. The candidate will act as the primary interface (liaison) between the COMPANY business functions and the IS department for the projects assigned.

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, ideal candidates must be able to test and obtain User Acceptance of newly developed software functions prior to deployment in the production environment. You will plan and execute integration and functional testing, identify software defects, ensure all software is developed in accordance with Company's usability standards. As a member of the QA team you will be responsible to ensure software products are delivered defect free. Additional responsibilities include project planning/reporting, high level process documentation and procedure development/maintenance.

You will work with a team of Developers, Database Administrators and other Business Analysts/Quality Assurance Analysts in the development and maintenance of our systems.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of eight to ten years' work experience in the Systems Development department of an information systems organization.
- Experience must include design, testing, and implementation of business systems for large scale projects involving Windows, Web and SQL Reporting Services applications.
- A background working with Financial systems and knowledge of the Agile Scrum methodology are a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in an IS discipline is preferred but the equivalent Information Systems experience is acceptable.
- Specific knowledge of the Siebel Call Center and/or FileNET Document Imaging applications is a highly desirable, with knowledge of other Siebel applications (Service Requests, eService) being desirable.

Base skills for job:

- As a BA, ability to grasp and understand the business quickly, capture the business requirements, conceptualize and present alternative solutions, and design and implement systems to satisfy those requirements.
- As a QA, ability to design, develop and execute test plans and test cases for system and integration testing.
- Perform system testing including functional testing, performance/stress testing, and installation testing.
- Performs integration testing focusing on functionality, navigation, security and data flow testing.
- Perform manual and automated testing.

General Requirements: 

- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong project planning skills.
- Possess a high level of initiative, require minimal direction, have the ability to multi-task and the excellent time-management skills. 
- Able to manage a workload that involves multiple small-to-medium sized projects or a few small-to-medium and one large scale projects at the same time.

- Functional requirements documents (eg System-level Domain Model documents, Component-level Use Case documents, System-level requirements documents, System-level functional design documents, Logical Data Model (vs. Physical Data Model) or Logical Entity Relationship Diagrams)

- Functional system specifications (not technical system specifications) 
- Test Plans
- User Acceptance Criteria Checklist
- Feasibility studies
- Cost/Benefit Analyses
- Project plans
- COTS package evaluations
- Gap Analyses (functional requirements vs. COTS functions and features)
- Management reports

Experiences: Proven track record of successful delivery of projects on-time, within budget, to specification, defect-free, and satisfying customer requirements.

Use of tools: Intermediate-to-expert knowledge of the following set of tools used in this job: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint (nice to have), Visio, defect reporting tools, SQL Query Analyzer.
