B2B Gateway Engineer (Brussels)

Je functie: Context
In the IT Engineering department, the Middleware department is amongst others in charge of implementing and supporting the integration components of the IT infrastructure. One of those components is the B2B Gateway that is used at the border of our infrastructure as gatekeeper for all in and out going traffic to our Business Partners. You will be in charge of the administration and (2nd and 3rd line) support of this platform and will actively contribute to its evolutions.

Function Description
Responsibilities and main tasks :
- Advice and assistance : support projects in the design, implementation, configuration, test and documentation of new data flows to/from Business partners.
- Operational support : proactively monitor the platform and take corrective action when (part of) the service is degraded/stopped. Contribute actively in restoring the service (incident management process) and in the analysis of the root cause and its structural resolution (problem management).
- Configuration management : follow the resource usage trend and advise on the configuration actions when capacity thresholds are reached.
- Lifecycle management : ensure the lifecycle management of the platform and of the flows.
- Platform improvements : look for evolution and/or improvements to be performed on the platform

Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience in IT

Experience
At least 3 years in IT infrastructure management

Technical Experience
Mandatory
- Relevant experience on Axway API Gateway engineering and operational management
- Sound knowledge of Security principles (authentication, authorization, encryption, certificates…) .
- Broad knowledge of integration and data exchange concepts, trends, protocols , and languages (eg : SOAP, JSON, XML, WSDL, XSLT…).

Preferable
- Recent successful proven experience(s) in similar/comparable scope
- IIB (IBM Integration Broker version 9+)

Business Experience
Preferable
- Working experience of ITIL processes
