Business Intelligence Consultant - Oil & Gas - 12 Month Contract+ - £500 Per Day - London

Business Intelligence / Microsoft BI Stack / SQL 2008 / SSIS / SSAS / ETL / T-SQL

My client a global energy and petrochemicals company, are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Consultant (SQL Server 2008 / ETL / SSRS / SSIS) on a 12 month contract. You will be required to help blue chip clients to re-design, performance tune and automate complex data management systems. The successful BI Consultant will have extensive knowledge of the Microsoft BI stack. It is also essential that you have background within the Oil & Gas industry.

Key skills and experiences:

* Development of SSIS packages
* Performance tuning of the T-SQL & database optimisation
* Creation and Testing of Reports and Data

* Microsoft SQL Server 2008 design, development, testing & data modelling
* Design, develop and performance tune SSAS OLAP Cubes & Data Marts
* Provided enterprise-level
* Design of ETL Framework
* Agile development methodology
* Additional skills include Data Mapping, production of business, functional and process specifications, data modelling and database design would be advantageous
