Azure Technical Release Manager/Support Engineer

Right now our hugely popular client is looking for a Technical Release Manager to manage Azure cloud services for online games. The Technical Release Manager (TRM) will support internally and externally developed online games and game-related services for mobile and tablet games.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Administer configuration and deployment of multiple globally scaled, 24/7 Azure environments and PAAS components to optimize service availability and performance
- Write tools and scripts to support multiple Azure apps
- Plan and execute disaster recovery and application maintenance work, such as log rotation, backups and service API correctness testing
- Partner with studios test organization to design and execute load and resiliency testing
- Analyze logs and performance metrics to troubleshoot and optimizes live running services
- Lead triage and resolution of Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues with engineering and production teams
- Consult development teams on architecture and engineering best practices
- Define standard and custom service monitoring events including escalation and resolution steps
- Work with Operation teams to outline support and service level agreements

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

- 2+ years of experience designing, deploying and operating Azure cloud services
- Experience writing configuration and monitoring tools and scripts in C#, PowerShell or similar
- Experience with source control systems such as TFS or Perforce
- Experience with high transaction volume applications using Azure Table Storage a plus
- Experience designing or supporting RESTful web APIs a plus
- Interest in game development and online casual games
