Azure Cloud Engineer

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR:

AZURE CLOUD ENGINEERS

As a Cloud Engineer you are responsible for developing and implementing changes in our IT Infrastructure application landscape. You will be mainly responsible for implementing (business) projects according to DLL's standards and guidelines.
In addition, you will become part of a small team responsible for the architecture, design, and implementation of a cloud platform (Microsoft Azure) which enables development teams to transform our business applications into scalable, elastic systems that can be instantiated on demand.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Working with development, operations, and external vendors to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Working in (regional/global) multi-functional teams.
- Ensuring your (project) deliverables are on time', on budget' and on quality' and according to DLL standards.
- Creating documentation for installation and maintenance of applications.
- Ensuring vendor requirements are challenged and ensuring Delivery Team alignment during execution and aftercare of projects.
- Ensuring knowledge is transferred to operations.
- Support initiatives that define, design, and implement (cloud) solutions.
- Deploy, update, monitor and maintain (cloud) applications

Your profile

- Service oriented mindset.
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field of study and at least 7 years relevant experience.
- Helicopter view of an IT Infrastructure landscape.
- Knowledge of web Servers (ie IIS and Apache), database management systems (SQL Server), code deployment automation (VSTS), workload management.
- Good networking skills to work and communicate with different departments and people.
- Good knowledge of customer and service oriented mindset.
- Good process management skills. (ITIL, Agile/Scrum).
- LEAN mindset.
- Azure and Powershell Scripting knowledge are a must to have
