JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Azure cloud Migration Engineer
Location: Stavanger, Norway
Job Type: Contract

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Microsoft Azure implementation consultant is responsible for delivery of IT Infrastructure elements of Azure Cloud and migrate workloads to Azure from on premise infra

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Understand the client's overall IT architecture, and effectively position Microsoft Azure Products and Services to ensure a successful implementation Public Cloud
- Leads the design/delivery of infra components, both Microsoft Azure and on premises Azure Stack
- Should be capable of solving complex technical problems, communicating technical concepts to clients and peers with mixed levels of technical abilities, and make sound technical and architectural decisions independently.
- Establish and adhere to IT industry best practices and standards as it relates to Architecting/Designing Client's Cloud systems.

EXPERIENCE

- Engineering Degree with 8+ years in IT
- 4+ Years of Microsoft Azure Cloud design and implementation.
- Certification on Azure Architecting is desirable
- Should know Azure offerings in detail and should have worked on at least one migration project
- IT Infrastructure domain knowledge is a must
- Should have hands-on proficiency in System Center 2012 R2
- Strong Active Directory skills.
- Strong Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 skills.
- Strong competency in powershell/VBScript/WMI and .NET Scripting to automate deployments
- Strong virtualization hands on technologies like Hyper-V and VMWare
- Strong networking skills
- Chef/puppet knowledge an added advantage
- Process orientation
- Good and effective written and oral communication

EXPERIENCE ( PREFERRED)

- Experience of working in International business environment
- Experience in handling MS Azure
