JOB DESCRIPTION

Microsoft Azure SME
Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Hartford, CT

Duration: 6 months+

Start: 2 weeks

In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of Microsoft Azure Cloud (Azure Virtual Machines, Data Services, Network etc) within organizations ranging from new start-ups to large enterprise customers. You will possess customer facing skills that allow you to represent Azure well within a customer's environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk management. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Contribute on Cloud Migration solutions, Cloud Architecture, response to Cloud adoption/Cloud Assessment on Azure.
-Assess the customer environments and prepare roadmap on the migration to Azure Offerings.
-Migrate, Implement the environments in Azure and Transition to the support team
-Experience on Windows PowerShell and Azure AD
-Help on a strategy to build opportunities on Azure platform
-In depth knowledge on Azure troubleshooting and operational support
-Educate customers of all size on the value proposition of Azure, and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
-Conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer technical skills to customers considering or using Azure.
-  Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the Azure solution architect community.
- Author or otherwise contribute to Azure customer-facing publications such as whitepapers.
- Deep Understanding on Office365 (Migrations & Operations)
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.
- Hands on experience on Sharepoint and SQL
-Hands on experience on Intune and MDM
-Knowledge on AWS and other cloud service provider will be added advantage.
