Axiom Data Analyst - Investment Banking

AXIOM DATA ANALYSTS -INVESTMENT BANKING - REGULATORY SYSTEMS

Mansion House Consulting are a highly successful and rapidly expanding Technology and Business Transformation Consultancy specializing in the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset/Fund Management and Wealth Management sectors. We currently have offices in London, New York, Jacksonville, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Singapore.

At present there are multiple requirements for experienced Axiom Data Analyst, with knowledge of investment banking regulatory process and technologies.  The successful Axiom Data Analyst's and Data Business Analyst's will be responsible for analysing data based on requirements from the business as well as identifying and assessing change needs. The Data Analyst's will capture data requirements, analyse the impact of the changes throughout the implementation process.

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS:

- Advanced knowledge of Axiom
- Collect data requirements in consultation with the business analyst.
- Service as expert's in one or more data categories and ensures that the data quality and metadata in these categories is understood.
- Researches and profiles data sources in data categories of expertise
- Participates in the creation of supporting documentation eg data availability, data sources and granularity, quality of data etc.
- Collaborates with the Data Modeller to help articulate data analysis results
- Liaises with programme/project managers, clients, functional analysts and developers as
- Supports and co-ordinates UAT as relates to data requirements, defining data relating testing

EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in Financial Services
- Previous experience working in the Regulatory Systems
- Experience in Financial data and business analysis and design
- Good Analytical and problem solving experience
- Knowledge of business and data analysis methods and tools
- Awareness of Quality Management tools and techniques
- Ability to identify and interpret business requirements
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English (written/verbal) additional language(s) are an advantage
- Knowledge in MS Office products
