AWS Technical Architect

Technical Architect - Amazon Web Services (AWS) - AWS Architectural design patterns - Restful Web services - SOA

My client, a leading broadcast company is looking for Technical Architect with extensive experience working on an AWS Cloud based platform to join them on a contract basis in London.

Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for providing a scalable application architecture solution to handle high peak load of data for the services in the AWS Cloud
- Be responsible for providing a scalable Restful web application architecture solution
- Be responsible for delivering multiple SOA and/or event-driven application architecture solutions for user activity monitoring
- To present and head any Technical review and design meetings

Requirements (Technical and Application Architecture):

- To oversee the technical and application architecture for a Cloud based (AWS) system and have full demonstrable knowledge of current up to date AWS architectural design patterns
- Be hands on from the word go, delivering the setting up of the infrastructure and deployment of the AWS platform.
- Be responsible for tuning infrastructure and adjusting architecture for performance optimizations within AWS
- To oversee the application architecture for a user activity system
- Ability to design system solutions with the whole stack from Front End to Back End in-mind
