AWS System Administrator Job

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (AWS OPERATIONS) needed for a 12 MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Schenectady, NY

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Window/Linux
- Apache Server Configuration and Tomcat Application Server

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Work on day-to-day AWS operations:
- Server Provisioning, Troubleshooting, etc.
- Documentation of standards and procedures
- Respond to incident, problem and change tickets
- Maintain and enhance AWS scripts, tools, and methodologies
- Systems Administration with Windows and Linux Servers
- Work with Chef development team on automation projects

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Two (2) plus years of experience using AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- EC2, S3, Elastic IPs, EBS, Security Groups, RDS
- Four (4) plus years hands on experience with Windows and Linux
- Two (2) plus years with Scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, Ruby or Python
- Strong experience with Apache server configuration
- Strong experience with Tomcat Application Server
