AWS/Java Developer

For a contract role at an international client in the banking industry in Amsterdam I am looking for a senior AWS/Java developer.

This online bank has been growing exponentially in the last years, being active in four countries with 250 employees. They have recently adopted an agile scrum way of working which elicited a lot of changes and positive energy. Next to developing features they are also working on test automation and CI/CD.

THE PROJECT

A couple of banking products are being renewed and developed. More and more services are being developed in the AWS Cloud. Therefore, I am looking for a developer who will contribute to these prodcuts, not only by writing code but also designing solutions based on services provided by AWS. You will work in a team that is responsible for both the Back End and Front End led by a Product Owner with help from analysts and a scrum master.

YOUR PROFILE

- Broad experience developing Back End software in Java
- Good experience with the AWS Platform (Lambda, dynamoDB, SNS, API gateways, s3)
- Infrastructural aspects of the AWS Platform - Realizing a development process in accordance with CI/CD
- Pre: affinity with mobile app development
- Pre: affinity with software development in financial services

You are a developer who can look back at a broad IT career who masters several disciplines and platforms. You developed applications based on the AWS technology stack and have a passion for technique and have the right social skills.
