LOCATION: Hilversum Netherlands

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Continuous Delivery
- Domain Driven Design
- Hands on AWS experience with at a minimum the following services
- Dynamo
- EC2
- S3
- TDD
- Understand the difference between unit, functional and exploratory testing
- Java 1.8 including experience with monads/functional programming
- Spring Boot
- Experience with serverless is a huge plus
- Build Tools such as gradle/mvn
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins/Circle CI or TeamCity
- DevOps, this means you are capable of supporting your code in production
- HTTP including knowledge of headers and verbs
- API development including semantic versioning
- Distributed source control such as git
- Distributed computing with an emphasis on service discovery, circuit breaking and routing
- Browser based development is a nice to have
- Proficiency in English
- SDLC with experience in Scrum
- Prefer candidates that have production applications written in more than one programming language, eg polyglot developers
- Prefer candidates that have worked on eCommerce for a consumer product company
- Candidate must be able to work in a dynamic and flexible environment

These is long term positions at Hilversum and selected candidate will be sent to US for 6 weeks for onboarding in March.

Education:

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in computer science and a minimum of 3 years' directly relevant work experience
