IN SEARCH FOR A CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT TO WORK WITH GLOBAL, BLUE CHIP CLIENTS. THIS WILL BE A CLIENT FACING ROLE, SO GOOD COMMUNICATION IS KEY!

My Cient uses Hybrid cloud infrastructure platform using one or more technologies like Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware ESX, Openstack, IBM, Azure and AWS to host their customer's application services and workloads in the cloud. The Infrastructure Lead Architect is responsible for architecting and designing solutions for IAAS/PaaS/SaaS on hybrid cloud platform for a variety of internal and external product used by our clients. Whilst a deep technical role this role will also include client facing meetings in which solutions are discussed and will also include the initial setup and deployment of new solutions to client.
The successful candidate will report to the head of infrastructure architect responsible for the solutions, consulting and systems integration of Hybrid cloud transformation programme.
The Lead Architect will liaise extensively with
- Customers for developing cloud strategy, adoption roadmap and support business case-TCO/ROI analysis
- IT/Infrastructure teams involved in transformation project delivery
- Other product SMEs/architects from CoEs within HCL and as well as partner/OEM SMEs
- Application development and support teams
- Sales and Pre-sales team helping with technical design, bill of quantity, effort estimation and transformation approach around IAAS, PAAS and SAAS in RFPs
Main Responsibility:
Lead the design of Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure solution to meet business requirements
- Create documentation around the solution proposal, design and implementation
- Lead the consulting, assessment, PoC and implementation engagements of Hybrid Cloud solutions
- Engage with customers and implementation teams around solving business and technical problems in the Hybrid Cloud ecosystem
- Provide technical oversight, review and quality control of artefacts throughout the project
- Contribute to the development of Hybrid Cloud standards, best practices and organisational capability
