AWS ADMINISTRATOR

Experis is looking for an AWS for our client, a well-known international company in the pharmaceutical industry, to join a project at the region of Basel. This role is a contract role which will run until end of December 2018.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will create Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) resources (eg subnets, network access control lists, and security groups). You will also utilize the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) features for provisioning, monitoring, scaling and distribution of compute infrastructure. Our Systems Administrator creates and utilizes Amazon EC2-VPC subnets. Leverage AWS capabilities (scalability, elasticity, and high availability) to assist Application Service Providers.

Other major responsibilities include the following:

- AWS Route 53 set up
- AWS CloudFront set up 53
- AWS API gateway service set up, custom domain for AWS API Gateway services, Set up Security of API gateway services
- AWS Lambda connection with AWS API Gateway to run aggregator services/Java services
- Set up Monitoring activities for these AWS Services/Functions
- Perform AWS resources backups using AWS services.
- Utilize AWS Cloud Formation to automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment to reduce time to production.
- Leverage resource tagging to allocate costs and optimize resource planning for budgeting, reporting and governance; Leverage design components and capabilities for scalability and elasticity and high availability.
- Support customer incident, problem, and change management

NOTE: 3-4 YEARS' HANDS ON EXPERIENCE WITH SETTING UP AWS CLOUDFRONT CDN, AWS ROUTE 53, S3 BUCKET, AWS API GATEWAY, AWS LAMBDA IS A MUST
