Avionics Technician x 6 Required - 6months Rolling Contract/Berkshire

JOB TITLE: AVIONICS TECHNICIAN x 6

CONTRACT: 6 months rolling contract

KEY DUTIES:

Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.

Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.

Troubleshoots pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (eg, repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).

Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proficient in electrical based maintenance, repair and modification activities
- Current placements selected had;
- Experience on rotary aircraft essential
- 1st Line maintenance and repair (Avionic repairs, fault finding)
- Ideally worked on military Aircraft
- Ideally carried out Chinook maintenance and modifications
- Current human factors cert.
- SC clearance held or willing to undergo
