Outsource UK Ltd is looking for a SC Cleared Hardware Design Engineer to join a Leading MOD Consultancy client on a 3 month contract basis.

To apply for this opportunity you will have:

Current SC Clearance
Test Instrumentation experience ie ATE or Labview
Hardware design experience
Experience of creating safety cases
Experienced system engineer
Knowledge of avionics suspension systems
Full design life cycle experience in National Instruments hardware
Test and measurement background
Proven record of delivering test and measurement systems

The Client:
Our Consultancy client designs defence and engineering products for the MOD
This role will be based in Hampshire, which is commutable from Southampton, Basingstoke, Crawley, Worthing and Guildford.

The Job:

Working as a Hardware Design Engineer the jobholder will be required to undertake a variety of tasks including:

Creating detailed design specifications for hardware systems
Putting together the design schedules

The candidate will design hardware systems and write detailed design specs. You will put together the design schedules.

You will have a current SC Clearance and will have experience of test instrumentation. You will be designing solutions and safety cases and will have a good knowledge of environmental and safety standards.
