Avionic Support Safety Engineer

AVIONIC SUPPORT SAFETY ENGINEER- WITH DEVELOPMENT AND INTEGRATION SUPPORT SAFETY SKILLS

An Avionic Support safety engineer with development and integration support safety skills is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Lancashire.

This is a six month contract working for a UK leading Defence Company.

OVERVIEW OF THE AVIONIC SUPPORT SAFETY ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE

A challenging new opportunity has arisen for a Support Safety Engineer within the avionic Integrated Solution Design Team based at Warton. Reporting to the Support Safety Team Leader, the successful applicant will help support the achievement of affordable, sustainable, integrated and safe support solutions for the aircraft customers, which will meet their through life support requirements.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE AVIONIC SUPPORT SAFETY ENGINEER

- Defence industry experience
- Experience of product safety
- Strong background in an aviation capacity
- Experience in reviewing safety assurance/safety cases for projects' support safety documentation.
- Strong IT skills
- Experience with integrated military support solutions
- Safety management background
- Experience with project support hazard logs

The role is based in Lancashire - commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool, Lancaster and Leeds.
