Avionic Support Engineer/Maintenance Planner

AVIONIC SUPPORT ENGINEER/MAINTENANCE PLANNER - WITH EXPERIENCE IN AN AEROSPACE ENVIRONMENT WITH A SOUND KNOWLEDGE OF AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS AND MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES.

An Avionic Support Engineer/maintenance planner with experience in an aerospace environment with a sound knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance activities is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Preston.

This is a twelve month contract working for a UK leading Defence Company.

OVERVIEW OF THE AVIONIC SUPPORT ENGINEER/MAINTENANCE PLANNER CONTRACT ROLE

You will form part of a team responsible for performing the Maintenance Task Analysis and Support Solution Definition for the NETMA, UK and Export capabilities of the Clients Aircraft. Responsibilities will include implementation of customer required support solutions and integration of these support solutions and their support resources into the design dataset.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE AVIONIC SUPPORT ENGINEER/MAINTENANCE PLANNER

- Experience in a support engineering discipline.
- Relevant engineering degree/HND.
- Experience in aircraft weapon systems.
- Understanding of reliability, maintainability and testability techniques and their application.

The role is based in Preston, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds.
