Avionic Quality Control Manager

AVIONIC QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER - WITH KNOWLEDGE OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.

An Avionic Quality Control Engineer with knowledge of product development projects is required to work on a twelve month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Lancashire.

This is a twelve month contract working for a UK leading defence company.

OVERVIEW OF THE AVIONIC QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER CONTRACT ROLE

In this role you will be supporting the development and continuous improvement of the clients engineering QMS, you will be responsible for the management of the ICMS on behalf of the team, as well as maintenance of the clients engineering iBMS.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THE AVIONIC QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER

- Experience with quality assurance and quality audits.
- Conversant with ISO 9001:2000 quality management system procedures.
- Weapons integration.
- Experience in risk management including hazard identification, analyse, risk assessment and risk mitigation.
- Experience in an aerospace environment.
- Previously supported product development projects.

The role is based in Lancashire - commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool, Lancaster and Leeds.
