AVAYA INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER/SPECIALIST (LEVEL 3, SENIOR)

6 MONTH CONTRACT + EXTENSIONS, ASAP START

Our client is a leading Australian Systems Integrator with a National presence. Based in Brisbane's CBD you will be working onsite at a leading financial institution supporting their current contact centre practice.

Excellent communication skills are a priority for this role as you will be representing a national organisation in a very tight knit but successful team.

Your role will include the planning, design, configuration, implementing, document and migration to an Avaya Aura Contact centre, unified communications platform. You will be an excellent Technical Voice Engineer representing our Client in the build, test and transition of  existing services to the new unified communications platform (UCP). You will contribute, or be the technical lead, of voice related incidents and problems relating to the new UCP.

Your background will cover the majority of the following skillsets:
 Design and implementation experience of Avaya PABX infrastructure (Servers, Gateways)
 Sound knowledge of Avaya Communication Manager 5.0 or Above
 Experience in Avaya Aura WFM packages and additional associated modules (WFM, WFO, Avaya Call Recording, Quality Manager, Shift Bidding, Strategic Planner)
 Experience in AVP (Avaya voice Portal) Speech platform
 Knowledge of Verint Call Recording Platform
 Additional Nortel PABX, Cisco Call Manager and Symposium experience highly desirable

In this role you will:
 Liaise with 3rd party vendors in regards to maintenance and troubleshooting priority faults
 Assist internal Project Teams as SME in telephony infrastructure and hardware
 Improve internal process for Helpdesk faults in relation to Telephony infrastructure faults
 Create and maintain detailed infrastructure documentation
 Ability to communicate with the Business in an effective manner and support relationship building

This is a 6 month initial engagement (with possible extensions) and is available for an ASAP start for suitably qualified candidates, Avaya certs expected: ACA, ACS, ACE, etc

This is predominantly an Avaya environment, however candidates with strong Cisco Contact Centre and Avaya support backgrounds are also welcome to apply for similar support roles, just not quite at this technical level.
