Avaya Engineer

We require a highly skilled Avaya engineer to work with the installation and support teams. The role will include the installation and configuration of Avaya equipment along with fault resolution and diagnostics.

The ideal candidate will be customer focussed with a can do attitude. They should possess a high level of written and spoken English to enable them liaise with the customers and colleagues. Be competent filling in all required documentation, on time and to a high standard. The candidate will be working at the forefront of technology and will be required to learn new products as they come along. They will be willing to work under pressure and at times work out of hours, occasionally this will be at short notice. The candidate will become part of a team, dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to all clients.

Minimum Experience:

* Avaya Accredited

* 5+ years experience working in the unified communications industry

* Proven track record working in an installation/support environment

* Experience on Avaya (Red) products - ACM, AES, System Manager, Session Manager, AAMM/MM /Intuity, AACC/Elite, One-X Apps & WFO.

* Posses a good working knowledge of networking technology (H323/SIP/QoS)

Desirable

* Microsoft Lync

* Experience with Session Border Controllers

* Video conferencing skills (Radvision)

* Network installation/support experience

* CCNA
