Projektbeschreibung

OUR CLIENT IS A LEADING TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY SEEKING AN AVAYA ENGINEER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM IN DUBLIN ON A CONTRACT BASIS.

The successful applicant will be involved in installing, deploying and supporting Avaya media gateways.

They will also be required to:

- Configure and test PRI/BRI cards/circuits as required.
- Take a prepared workbook and setup the necessary software associate functionality withina Corporate Voice network.
- Test and verify LSP functionality of Media gateways at individual sites.
- To document and present change requests to the Change Review Board.
- Undertake and complete telephony implementation work in-line with Eircom best practice and identified processes.
- Participate in the validation of the integrity and quality of other team members implementation work as part of the peer review process, so as to ensure right first time and ready for implementation.

- Contribute to the integrity of documentation for telephony infrastructure, particularly updating and reflecting changes to the as-is environment in a timely manner.
- To present complex implementation plans for review by the architectural review board as required.
- Ownership of the implementation of project designs, changes resulting from service requests and day to day in-life change, up to and including bringing into service (BIS) sign-off.
- Working very closely day to day with the project team to ensure the rollouts/deployments stay on schedule.
- Have ability to take a design and work on own initiative (if required) to implement it.

SKILLS/EXPERTISE

- 5+ years telephony experience
- Holds as a minimum a mid level of Avaya accreditation
- Has worked on Avaya PBX/Call Centre/Applications technology for at least 5+ years and can provide demonstrable evidence of tis
- Has a good understanding of contact centre adjuncts/functionality (eg call recording, ACD, wall boards, etc)
- Has project experience of major telephony/IPT rollouts in large enterprises
- Strong problem solving skills and a good team player
- Excellent communication skills through English (written and speaking).
