Avaloq Software Engineer

My client is a Bank situated in Zurich. They are currently looking for an experienced Avaloq Parameterisation Developer to deliver the development of requirements for projects. The right candidate is expected to provide parameterisation skills and has work experience with the core banking solution Avaloq. Focus will be on solution development.

Key Accountabilities:

- Detailed specification where necessary
- Development/Parameterisation of given requirements on time and in budget
- Documentation of delivered solution
- Pre-test, integration-test and business test support
- Stakeholder management including business & technical end user consulting
- Reporting to project manager
- Service management: Post Go Liive 3rd level support

Skills:

- Strong Avaloq parameterisation know-how
- Experience in working in an international team with native and non-native English speakers
- Fluent English written and spoken
- Technical know-how in operating systems, databases and applications
- Avaloq certification
- PL/SQL skills
- Oracle database know-how
- German written and spoken (preferred)

Required Experience:

- University degree or equivalent in computer science or engineering
- At least 2-3 years of Avaloq parameterisation experience
- Experience in business analysis, consulting (preferred)
- 3-5 years of Banking experience (preferred)
- German written and spoken (preferred)
