Automotive Software Engineer (Autosar, XCP, CAN)

AUTOMOTIVE SOFTWARE ENGINEER (AUTOSAR, XCP, CAN)

Automotive software engineer with AUTOSAR, XCP and CAN experience required urgently by a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier based near Heilbronn in Southern Germany.

Location:
Heilbronn area, Baden-Württemberg

DURATION:
6 months with strong chance of extension

RATE:
€50 to €60 per hour

In this role you will provide expertise with the XCP protocol on CAN, Ethernet, Flex Ray or USB compliant to AUTOSAR. This will require a strong understanding of Embedded programming and preferably previous experience within the automotive industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

- XCP protocols
- CAN/Ethernet/Flex Ray/USB bus systems
- AUTOSAR base software experience
- Embedded C

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- The client requires XCP expertise for two key projects with delivery dates in November 2013 and March 2014.
- There is limited XCP resource on the team currently and so this position represents an essential requirement for the delivery of these projects.
- You will be working on exciting ECU and Powertrain software for some very recognisable OEMs.
