Position Description:
Electrical Programme Engineer.

Skills Required:
Develop high level and detailed project timing plan in line with GPDS which can be used to track progress of the programme from early concept through to the PSC Gateway.
- Identify areas of risk within plans, and develop contingency actions.
- Coordinate the AEE PDL responses for both Pre and Post PS PDL's.
- Assist in the co-ordination of the projects including setting up the agendas of weekly EE Senior management and department reviews, CPE/CFE reviews.
- Compile management reports and associated metrics to support senior management reviews.
- Co-ordinate and drive the team with the use of i3 deliverables to manage the completion for the programme milestones.

Experience Required:
- Coordinate and Deliver all Electrical pre-PS activities for identified Programmes.
- Populate and maintain Electrical content within the Programme PPFeas and 32 system one page documents.
- Coordinate the Electrical Product definition work with other CoC's, Vehicle Engineering, Adv Man Eng and client's core Electrical design teams.
- Coordinate with the EE Systems Strategy and Business case development team for programme competitor benchmarking and gain a good understanding of competitor best practice.
- Support new Pre PS initiatives such as material cost studies and coordinate the Core Electrical departments involvement.
- Prepare and present documentation for Programme checkpoints and gateways.
- Deliver Programme to PS, meeting Electrical pre-PS deliverables.
- Populate and maintain the programme i3 status.
- Populate and coordinate the core Electrical departments PDL response document for the PS Gateway.
- Facilitate the transition of the programme from Advanced Electrical Engineering to the core Electrical department between PS and PSC.
- Construct list of actions to address current platform and vehicle compromises for EE from QHR, AIMS, launch spikes etc.
- Work with the rest of the vehicle teams on package, attribute targets, compatibility issues. Liaise with key experts within base EE organisation to achieve this.
- Consider whole lifecycle including bill of process, bill of design, service (diagnostics, upgradeable systems etc).
- Good analytical / reconciliation skills with particular attention to the detail.

Education Required:
Educated to degree level in an Engineering or Business related subject.
