Automic Software Developer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Detailed requirements analysis and consulting of Customers and projects within IT and near-IT businesses
-Ability to design concepts and take over development activities according to the possibilities provided by the Automic Automation Engine in a timely manner
-Recurring exchange with the Automic admins and agreeing on possible improvements for the overall platform experience
-Coordination of various project activities in agreement with our customers to ensure maximum satisfaction
-Design and implementation of new Proof of Concepts for improvement or replacement of existing processes
-Being able to recognize automation opportunities in a self-reliant matter
-Creation and maintenance of documentation in accordance to standards and in collaboration with operations team
-Improvements of existing frameworks, both in developing and designing
-Overall product management tasks, e.g. backlog refinement and possible takeover of Scrum Master tasks

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Very good knowledge in the area of process, application and server surveillance
-Established understanding of BPMN 2.0 and possible customizations for usage as an interface for customer requirement automation
-Good knowledge in client-server architecture and distributed systems and experience with Java programming
-Extensive experience of at least two years in programming with Automic scripting language
-Experience with XML, JSON, REST and SOAP interface programming that is often used in the Automic rapid automation interface programming
-Understanding of test automation possibilities as well as tools, both in design and implementation
-Experience in the areas of servers and operating systems, networks and SQL databases as well as administration of them
-Extensive knowledge and understanding of web-based systems and understanding of cloud patterns and corresponding workload automation frameworks
-Experience with Service Operations teams and collaboration as well as DevOps foundations
-Practical experience with ITSM tools (preferably ServiceNow), HP ALM suite, SDLC toolchain, including the following tools: JIRA, JAMA, Bitbucket (or similar git repository), Artifactory, Teamcity, Confluence and urbanCode Deploy
-Practical experience of working within an environment that favours Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
-Fluency in German and English
