Proteus Europe is searching for an Automation Tester who will work as part of the quality team on a large project, highlighting any programming faults/low standards to ensure the best possible end product.
Our Client:-
Our Client is a Banking service provider based in Belgium. They work in the retail and investment side of the banking service and as such have a reputation for consistently delivering reliable services as thousands of people in Belgium depend upon them every single day.
Your New role:-
Our client has an innovative online and tablet banking platform. They are aiming to create an excellent user experience for its customers, created together with its customers.
Different teams will add functionalities originating from the different banking domains, eg payments, savings, investments, etc. You will be part of the Q-team, who are responsible for guaranteeing the quality in the development teams.
Ranging from unit/module/integration testing, automated testing, test approach, performance, maintainability, and other non functionals. You are a team player, since you will be fulfilling a central role in the team. You have the ambition to obtain the best possible result for our customer and are not afraid to point attention points and/or propose improvements along the way.
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
Technical skills
- REST/SOAP service test automation tools eg soapUI/Ready! API
- Selenium Webdriver combined with services like SauceLabs/BrowserStack or Amazon Device Farm
- Experience with mobile app test frameworks eg Appium
- Behaviour Driven Testing, knowledge of Cucumber/Jbehave is a plus.
- Knowledge of 1 or more programming languages (Java, Groovy, Python, ) to apply in automation
- Knowledge of performance test tools is a plus eg JMeter/Blazemeter
- You are able to set up a CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins or Bamboo for execution of automated tests
- Knowledge of HP ALM tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, )
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance Soft skills
- Dutch mandatory

- You are a teamplayer
- You have a fluent communication, both written and oral
- You have passion for quality and can inspire others
