QA Analyst/Test Automation Specialist
The ideal candidate will assist in implementing a QA structure that uses automated testing as one of the main testing frame works as well as set up testing tools and environments and putting testing procedures, guidelines and documentation in place for this process. This is an operational role and although it includes providing assistance in framing processes in consultation with the larger team, the execution of those processes will be the main focus of this position.
Responsibilities and Duties
Including but are not limited to:
- Participate in transition from Manual to and Automation Testing framework using Spec flow, Test Complete and Selenium Tools
- Plan the design, development and execute tests for internally developed software or customized off-the-shelf products
- Establish not just the functional correctness of a system but also that its performance, reliability, scalability and security attributes meet the requirements
- Manage multiple QA engagements by using internal/external resources
- Work with the technical teams and internal audit to develop and put in place testing procedures/guidelines for multiple Development teams both SOX and non-SOX
- Actively participate in reviews of application designs, business and functional requirements and specifications
- Write comprehensive test strategies and test cases and review with business partners and project team
- Contribute to the definition of development standards promoting testing efficiency and effectiveness including test automation
- Participate in the development of a QA structure and contribute to continuous process improvements
Experience
- At least three years of QA solid experience including functional, regression, and performance testing (manual & automated) methodologies
- At least 1 year of experience developing test automation or software
- Experience working on Agile projects
- Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with all members of small to large project teams including UAT application teams
- Experience in developing systems requirements specifications an advantage
- Experience designing, developing, maintaining and managing automated GUI and integration tests
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Automated test experience that preferably includes implementing and maintaining a test automation framework (including bindings and keyword mappings), developing GUI based feature tests and API based unit/integration tests
- Ability to work with product development on problem analysis, diagnosis, testing and solution
- Write functional test scripts based on functional specifications and other documentation
