Automation Test Consultant (Amsterdam) - Financial Services Background

AUTOMATION TEST CONSULTANT (AMSTERDAM) - FINANCIAL SERVICES BACKGROUND - SHORT TERM CONTRACT

We are looking for Automation Test Consultant for the NCC Group to be based on our end client site in Amsterdam. Candidates with a background in financial services would be desirable and worked in the financial services industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist Test Manager with Resourcing Strategy
- Assist with the creation of a resourcing process, to deal with needs as they are identified in the business
- Assist in identifying Strategies required to deliver testing across area including:
- Overall testing strategy and test process, including the following, unless they are determine to be stand-alone strategies/processes
- Support of existing quality issues and/or bug fixes
- Performance and load testing
- Release regression/automation strategy:
- Review Current Core Regression Pack
- Assisting the Test Manager with review of the current release regression testing assets, to determine completeness and suitability for automation.
- Create Automation Framework and Plan:
- Clear structure that will provide the basis for maintainable, modular automated testing, built with best practice techniques. - Validation that current automation tool is suitable for this automation effort, or recommendation of a more suitable tool, should this not be the case
- Estimates for the completion of automated tests for the core regression suite as a whole, aligned with priorities agreed with the business
- A resource plan to support completion of the automation effort
- Communicating progress against the overall effort, against the plan
- Responsible for adhering to all internal policy and procedures in relation to security and quality best practice.
