Automation Test Analyst (SC) - Contract - Somerset - £competitive

Synergize Consulting are now hiring for a Test Analyst with significant automated testing experience to work for a leading government client based in Somerset.

This analyst will be expected to lead and deliver the planning and execution of automated software testing activity throughout the development life cycle for Agile/Scrum projects.

Responsibilities include:

- Create a new automated test framework within one of the Agile development teams and produce supporting documents to enable knowledge transfer to internal teams.
- Analyse requirements to inform design of test scripts that test specific software functionality to ensure it satisfies the requirements
- Review test scripts produced by other testing resources
- Lead and participate in test execution, defect recording and capture of test results
- Summarise data from test execution into test reports, both during and on completion of testing

Experience required:

- Experience in creating and implementing test strategies and plans on significant projects/software developments
- Significant experience of automated testing (Selenium WebDriver, CodedUI or other tools).
- Provide evidence of requirement analysis to assess test coverage, extract test design and develop test scripts
- Background of overseeing testing functions within an Agile environment, as well as previous experience with a government, defence or public sector client.
- Due to the nature of the client it would be an advantage for candidates to hold or be eligible to undergo SC Clearance
