AUTOMATION QA ENGINEER

SKILLS: Selenium, SQL, Agile, Java

This is a six month renewable contract position offering a host of exciting and challenging opportunities to help you make the most of your talent and potential. Located in Alpharetta, GA.  The Automation QA Analyst will participate in Quality Assurance process improvement initiatives.  Assist in the standardization of Quality Assurance methodology and environments.  Participate in the test planning process for assigned projects in the software life cycle from inception through implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Implement testing plans, test cases and presenting testing results.
- Create test plans in coordination with Product Development
- Deliver test cases based on these requirements.
- Implement testing plans and test cases.
- Create use cases, develop and maintain test specifications, test cases, test scripts and test data.
- Implement test practices, standards and processes.
- Troubleshoot test issues, record test results, track and prioritize defects.
- Participate in release decisions and establish measures of test efficiency, effectiveness and product readiness.
- Write easy-to-understand test case steps and expected result descriptions.
- Design, Develop Selenium Java scripts for expected result sets.
- Critically think about how clients will interact with the software being tested and turn those thoughts into finding bugs, listing action items, and opening avenues of discussion.
- Participate in Project Communication between client executives, development and production control.
- Customer Focused; Detail-orientated individual, confident individual who is willing to assume responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similarly-related technical discipline.
- 5+ years prior experience in Quality Assurance.
- Experience Scripting QTP
- Services testing/Soap UI
- 1 years hands-on experience in Selenium (will consider experience with other open source tools and train on Selenium)
- 1 years writing hands-on experience in Java
- Experience working in a continuous delivery model
- Experience in Web Test Automation, using Selenium Webdriver 2 framework + Java
- Experience automating Performance tests
- Strong knowledge of QA methodology, and software development life cycle
- Excellent written and oral communications skills and a high degree of self-motivation and flexibility.
- Knowledge and experience with AGILE
- Ability to interact creatively and achieve results
