Automation Engineering Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an AUTOMATION ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN to join our client in Beaverton, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Automation Engineering Technician will provide Automation support for MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Automation Engineering Technician responsibilities will also include shop floor control and data collection systems.
- Automation Engineering Technician will work with operation teams, IT teams and product teams to perform administrative duties of the MES tools.
- Automation Engineering Technician will build reports, trouble shoot data integrity issues, train users of new functionality, document new functions and procedures, and model configurations to meet new product requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):

- AS in Information Systems, IT or other applicable degree.
- Five (5) years of experience in shop floor control administration.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED):

- Experience as AEGIS administrator.
- Experience in board manufacturing.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience documenting shop floor control procedures.
