Automation Engineer Senior

Automation Engineer Senior with profound DevOps knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Technical expertise in multiple automation and management platforms, especially vRealize Automation (vRA), vRealize Orchestrator (vRO) as well as in Scripting and coding with PowerShell and Javascript (JS)
- 5+ years' working experience in following roles: Systems Engineer or Architect, Systems Automation/Tools Developer/DevOps Engineer, Cloud/Virtualization Engineer
- 3+ years' experience developing technical solutions for automation
- Knowledge of AWS components, Linux, Windows Server and infrastructure are nice-to-have for this role
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Developing a portfolio of automation tools leveraging several technologies, primarily vRA, vRO
- Aligning the technology solutions with business requirements to ensure customer success and providing technical/industry knowledge to guide solution development
- Managing technical evaluations, POCs, making technology recommendations and offering technical leadership
- Analysing technical problems and existing solutions to understand performance and functionality
- Executing technical solutions that meet the customer requirements, security baselines and are aligned with the firm's overall technical roadmap and infrastructure
