AUTOMATION AND TOOLS SDET REDMOND, WA 12 MONTH CONTRACT

This role requires a very senior SDET with extensive experience building test tools and automation using the Microsoft technology stack. We prefer candidates with strong White Box testing backgrounds who are excellent troubleshooters and problem solvers.

Approximately 75% of this role will involve standard development tasks (design work, writing code, debugging, etc.) with around 25% of time spent investigating issues and performing standard White Box testing tasks. The team works in a highly Agile methodology and all candidates must have previous experience working in such an environment. A strong emphasis on Quality, Engineering Excellence, and Customer Advocacy is key to success with this role and this team.

REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 5 years of development experience
- Very strong, demonstrable C# skills
- Solid SQL skills
- Solid experience with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, ASP, XML/SOAP, etc.)
- Previous Functional Testing experience (At least 3 years, preferably testing web apps)
- Strong, demonstrable Automation skills and work experience (preferably web automation)
- Solid understanding of Agile methodology
- Dependable, self-starter who can deliver under pressure

NICE TO HAVE:

- Strong web service development and/or testing skills
- Experience working with Selenium
- Experience working on E-commerce solutions
- Performance Testing experience (preferably enterprise-level)
- Previous work experience developing with MVC
- Experience building solutions that support Localized software
- Working experience with mobile devices
- Working experience writing software for mobile devices
