Automated Verification Engineer

Tasks

Develop framework for running automated verification of services
Translate the procedures which are currently manually run into automated procedures.
Develop automated procedures based on the manually run ones
Document the solution
All artifacts shall be configuration controlled using the git repository under IV&V environment.

Personal Experience and Attributes

Expected:
Analytical and problem solving skills.
5+ years of experience with .NET or similar
2+ years of experience with testing in federated environments.
2+ years of experience with SOAPui.
4+ years of experience with Scripting in Python, Ruby, PowerShell, UNIX Shell Scripting and Perl.
4+ years of Practical knowledge of and experience with BizUnit and NUnit as Distributed testing Frameworks or similar tools
Ability to work in a team environment and individually on own initiative
High competency of spoken and written English

Desirable:
Experience integrating REST API into applications
Experience with Test Management Tools like TestRail or similar
Experience with system administration of Microsoft Active Directory
Experience with system administration of Microsoft Exchange
Experience with DNS, NTP, DHCP and related technologies
Experienced with Solaris and Linux
5+ years of experience of testing enterprise-level systems and services
Experience in writing test related documents and reports

The candidate will be working with the IV&V Reference environment system where services under test will be available and where the development work will take place. The candidate will be required to travel to JFTC (POL) for a week for a final proof of the delivered work.

The ideal candidate is a developer with interest in testing, Scripting and has some basic knowledge about how the services under test function.

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
