AUTOMATED TEST ENGINEER is needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client in Portland, OR.

- Automated Testing
- Mechanical Engineering

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Automated Test Engineer will understand, implement test requirements and formulate test automation solutions for Openstack.
- Automated Test Engineer will design test cases and work with development engineering on project feature/functionality in-depth.
- Automated Test Engineer will develop, implement, and configure test automation framework for testing graphical user interface and APIs
- Automated Test Engineer will also develop coding specs and standards for test automation adherence to the frameworks. Discover and investigating product defects and drive to resolution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in EE, CS or related subject matter.
- Local Candidates only- relocation is not an option.
- Experience writing Python scripts for test automation - specifically user interface, API's, use cases
- Experience developing test automation for the Linux environment, Openstack environment & REST API's
- Experience setting up and testing virtualized environments (eg KVM, VMWare)
- Experience with Ad hoc testing based on knowledge of system and project requirements

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- MSEE, CS or related subject matter.
