Automated Simulation Engineer (Matlab/Simulink)

Candidate will be responsible for developing automated Simulation in the Loop (SIL) and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing of engine and aftertreatment control systems for current and future natural gas/dual fuel engine products. Must be able to work as part of a team, have a systems engineering focus, and be motivated to meet/exceed customer expectations.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
.Reviewing engine system control requirements and the associated Simulink model implementations.
.Developing and documenting manual/automated test requirements based on engine system control requirements.
.Reviewing product data for various Customer engine applications and developing test stimulus that represent real world engine cycles.
.Developing behavioral models of various engine systems using Matlab/Simulink.

SKILLS:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
.Electrohydraulic and/or electromechanical system modelling experience with Matlab/Simulink.
.Embedded electronic system validation experience with natural gas, diesel or gasoline engine control systems.
.Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively with team members, customers, and suppliers.
.Candidates must have demonstrated technical ability and be able to think/act on problems outside of their area of expertise.

EDUCATION:
This position requires a BS degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum plus 3 years industry experience, or an MS in an accredited Engineering curriculum plus 1 year industry experience.
