Authorization Assistant Job

AUTHORIZATION ASSISTANT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in South San Francisco, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Data Entry experience in health care field.
- Strong Computer Skills.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Log and verify incoming treatment authorization requests/referral authorization requests (RAFs/TARs).
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of RAF/TAR information into system (approximately 100 per day).
- Conduct research to determine correct provider/member information.
- Assist providers with RAF/TAR inquiries.
- Send written communications to others regarding RAF/TAR status.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Two (2) years of data entry experience.
- Computer skills including experience with database and spreadsheet applications.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Effective oral communication skills and ability to work with others.
- Experience with RAFs/TARs is a plus.
- Excellent attendance
