Authority Officer

Authority officer - Government - Birmingham - 12 months+ Security cleared

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced authority officer to join a high profile government organisation and review case referrals for potential victims of trafficking, obtain information from partner agencies and reach a decision regarding whether an individual is a victim of human trafficking. You will be required to liaise with a variety of partner agencies including law enforcement, charities, local authorities, work to set deadlines and be able communicate your decisions both verbally and in writing.

Essential:
Proven experience of report writing skills.
Proven experience of working to tight deadlines within a dynamic environment.
Excellent customer service skills including liaising with a wide range of agencies.
Experience of analysing information from a wide range of sources.
Information technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Security clearance is required in order to be a successful applicant for this position
