We are urgently looking to fill a Authorisation/Risk Assessment -  Case Officer  

6 months contract role for our high profile Financial services Client in London.

To start ASAP.

This role is working in the Authorisations division of the Client.

MINIMUM:

Evidence of experience in financial services sector or financial regulation

Good knowledge of financial products and sectors

Evidence of ability to make well-reasoned decisions and to communicate the rationale behind such decisions clearly to a range of stakeholders

ESSENTIAL:

Evidence of effective stakeholder management

Evidence of effective case management/case handling

Ability to make bold, high quality judgement based decisions and deliver them with confidence

Experience in building and maintaining strong professional relationships at various levels

Evidence of being an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

Commitment to delivering excellent quality

Excellent prioritisation and organisation skills

VERY DESIRABLE:

Good understanding of regulated environment and legislation

Good understanding of conduct risks associated with financial intermediaries

Evidence of improving effectiveness of processes

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Case management

Effectively managing a portfolio of wholesale variation of permission applications, of varying levels of complexity

Gathering, assessing, and presenting relevant information, intelligence, and analysis

Making and delivering bold, confident, high quality judgment based decisions in a timely manner

Involvement in presenting cases to regulatory committees (RTC and RDC)

Providing excellent service to our customers

Maintaining good quality standards

Proactively seeking to promote competition and minimise perceived barriers to entry whilst maintaining a robust gateway

Pro-active stakeholder engagement 

The successful candidate must be willing to undergo a security clearance process.
