AUTHORISATION AND AUTHENTICATION CONSULTANT

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within IT, we are looking for an experienced Authorisation and Authentication Consultant for this Contract position based in Zurich, Switzerland our client is looking for an Englishspeaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. YOUR MAIN TASKS IN THIS POSITION ARE;

- Understand existing and forthcoming Authentication and access control services for both a business and technical perspective.
- Build strong relationships with the internal clients of Authentication and access control including project managers and senior IT developers
- Act as a Centre of excellence and provide expert advice to existing or potential consumers of Authentication and access control services.
- Provide feedback to the IdM Engineering teams to help improve future products and services
- Manage multiple concurrent consultancy requests and associated record-keeping.
- Provide concise overviews of IdM products and services, in both verbal and written forms
- Generate and provide supporting documentation where necessary.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION ARE;

- Fluent in both German and English
- Strong technical IT background
- Good understanding of authentication and Identity management
- Good understanding of Web services
- Understanding of software development and project management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Some development experience eg Java C/C++ or Cobol

DESIRED SKILLS:

- Familiar with the finance industry and audit requirements with respect to Identity and access management
- Knowledge of application level security
- Understanding of information security principles and how these should be applied as part of an IT risk management life cycle process
- Knowledge of single sign on systems
- SiteMinder knowledge a big advantage
