Augmented Reality Test Engineer

Our client is the world's largest fabless semiconductor producer and the largest provider of wireless chipset and software technology.

Due to continued success they are now looking for a System Test Engineer to join their team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will have a strong test background, ideally on smart phones or similar devices; Be able to create testing environments using software and hardware tools; Have familiar with Augmented Reality; Have experience of testing Software Development Kits (SDKs) for C, C++ ; Have familiarity with coding, and the use of development tools, sufficient to execute test case that involve making modifications to a program and verifying the result.

In addition to the above skills, you will have experience of writing test automation or similar tools with Python, Java and C++; Exposure to the Unity 3D game development environment; Familiarity with mobile device camera pipeline components; Familiarity with Augmented Reality detection and tracking testing techniques.
