Augmented and Virtual Reality Technical Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position is focused on augmented reality and virtual reality software development for application in equipment operation and maintenance. This is an exciting new venture where a technical specialist is needed to help lead, research, and develop new methods for servicing and operating equipment. Potential local travel may be required.

SKILLS:

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- 3-5 years work experience minimum.
- Unity 3D programming in C#, including bump mapping, reflection mapping, and render-to-texture, with emphasis on multiple variants with fallback for hardware performance vs feature optimization.
- Delivery to multiple hardware systems: Smartphones, tablets, web browsers, desktops, and consoles.
- App development in multiple operating systems (Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Tizun, Ubuntu, Blackberry, Windows, Unity Web Player#, Linux, Adobe Flash, Firefox, PlayStation, Xbox, Wii ).
- Programming experience in C, C++, C#, Java, HTML5, CSS, ASP, JSP, JavaScript, AJAX, Python, Ruby, Ruby on Rails.
- 3D modelling: Blender, Maya, etc.
- Must have high level skills using Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and analytical and problem solving ability.
- Should be a team player, self-directed, proactive, detail oriented, and display attributes of a critical thinker, able to leverage innovative ideas.
