Projektbeschreibung

OBJECTIVE

- The Conference Resources Department, a part of Creative Network, is responsible for providing all divisions with outstanding customer service in the daily scheduling and technical operation and support of all media-based presentations in meeting rooms, video conference rooms and conference centers in Lake County.

FUNCTION

- The position assures the quality, timeliness and budgetary adherence for all projects requiring audiovisual support services. It is critical that these projects are carried out in a professional, technically flawless manner on a schedule to meet deadlines.
- Performance in this function supports strategic initiatives through reliable technical meeting support.
- The Conference Resources Department is staffed by five Full time technicians and one scheduler, with frequent additional contract and/or vendor supplied technicians to meet client demands.
- The Senior Technician, Audio Visual provides A/V support for any type of presentation and meeting - both in house and off- site -facilitate the usage of video conference rooms
- Maintain and track all audio visual equipment used in in conference centers/rooms -adhere to operational policy and communicate to department manager all progress and/or problems -participate in the audiovisual design of new meeting facilities

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee usage of A/V equipment in conference centers, conference rooms, and video conference rooms -help determine and establish priorities for the conference technicians -communicate department processes to technicians
- Communicate to department manager the progress and/or problems in processes
- Operate and maintain, along with technicians, AV equipment for optimum performance -work with clients to assure their acceptance of meeting AV needs and support -work with department manager to research current meetings presentation trends and issues
- Assist department manager in determining future equipment and supply needs
- Develop cost estimates of projects managed
- Work with technicians and assist department manager in developing strategies to promote department services through client contact and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Oversee maintenance of equipment inventory -produce records of time, expenses, and other reports as required; contribute to the achievement of department financial goals
- Interact with Creative Network and personnel on all levels to insure effective client relations -oversee the purchasing from vendors of AV associated materials required -assist manager in fact based decision making/process improvements

PROBLEM SOLVING

- Maintain an environment that fosters a team approach to serving clients' needs -handle crisis situations and remain effective; handle multiple tasks -identify client needs and assist in meeting diversity of needs -problem solve A/V equipment breakdowns/troubleshoot video conferencing room use issues -a self -starter in regards to projects, organizational skills, and be able to work with minimum supervision. Possess good time management skills, be detail oriented and be dependable

ACCOUNTABILITY

- Reports to Manager Conference Services
- Provide highest standard for A/V productions and video conferencing room technical assistance for any client. Assume highest level of quality using available resources -creatively work with resources required to maintain and adhere to allotted budgets -maintain confidentiality regarding information disclosed in A/V or video conference room presentations -consult with department manager for final decision on complex problems, on projects, clients or personnel

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor of Arts in broadcasting or related fields
- At least 5 years in A/V field
