Developing smart audio amplifiers for mobile phones. For the acoustics & Digital Signal Processing software team in Leuven, we are looking for a Audio DSP algorithm & software development engineer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

- You will convert audio signal processing algorithms developed by research from a behavioural code (Matlab, C) into target C code for a fixed-point Embedded processor, meeting the constraints of Embedded code, verify the code, validate it in the Embedded environment and document it.
- You will adapt and finetune the algorithm and the target code, and in that way you will gradually get involved in algorithm development for audio signal processing.
- You will be working in the acoustics & Digital Signal Processing software team

EXPECTATION

- You have a relevant Master or Bachelor degree.
- You have experience with digital audio signal processing.
- You have experience with Embedded software development, preferably for Digital Signal Processing.
- Experience with acoustics is an asset.
- Experience with converting an audio signal processing algorithm into a fixed-point code is an asset.
- You are pro-active, creative and quality-oriented.
- You can work in team as well as autonomously.
- You are fluent in English.
