The ATS Coordinator is an integral member of the Data Center Engineering Operations team and works with Facility Managers and on site electricians to coordinate the deployment and tracking of ATSs (Automatic Transfer Switches) using the Data Center Capacity Manager.

OVERVIEW:

- Receive and track inventory of ATSs
- Test ATSs to maintain set number for crash carts, upcoming back-feeds, and on-hand inventory
- Use the DCCM to maintain updates on ATS deployment dates, serial numbers, and circuitry information
- Coordinate shipping of ATSs to various sites
- Handle RMAs for failed ATSs
- Follow through on trouble tickets for newly deployed racks to insure integrity of information put in the DCCM
- Train/provide support to Facility Managers and EOTs in reading history/events off the ATSs
- Insure crash cart stock is constantly maintained to insure availability of ATSs for emergency replacement

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to work long periods of time without sitting
- Knowledge of general safety rules when working on a construction site
- Ability to work around computer equipment without disturbing components or wiring
- Some warehousing capabilities
- Some knowledge of simple inventory systems or procedures (can count and accurately report)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to identify priorities and manage tasks efficiently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2 years experience in HVAC or Electrical working in a commercial building environment
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in working around critical electrical components, ie: cords, wiring, data racks
- Ability to accurately enter numbered data into spreadsheets
- Strong in computer applications with the ability for problem solving
