ATM to Ethernet Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ATM TO ETHERNET ENGINEER to join our client in Monroe, LA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with Target State Ethernet initiative.
- Moving Cisco and Ciena equipment to an ALU Network.
- Router and Switch Augmentation including LAG upgrades, ring insertions, software upgrades, etc.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Three to five (3-5) years in this type of environment.
- Knowledge of Layer 2/3 backgrounds and familiarity with RSTP, PBB, OSPF, and MPLS
- Familiarity with Juniper, Redback, Caliz, Adtran, Cisco, and ALU equipment.
- Prior experience configuring and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work in a 24 x 7 environment.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- CCNA/CCNP/CCIE Certification is a plus.
