ATM Application Programmer Contractor

Our client is the leading financial service provider seeking an ATM SOFTWARE ENGINEER to contribute to ATM product development and certify vendor software for compatibility and unit testing. Preference on industry background with an ATM company that uses the Connex Advantage Platform ATM CED and/or load configuration experience in a testing capacity.

The main function of an ATM Engineer is to apply the principles of computer science to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of ATM software and systems. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering with 2-5 years of previous experience programming ATM applications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required
- 2+ years' experience required
- Connex Advantage platform ATM CED and load configuration knowledge (Highly Preferred)
- Connex Advantage application programming experience - ATM (Highly Preferred)
- Connex Advantage application programming experience - non-ATM (Preferred)
- Basic knowledge of major ATM vendor software, hardware, and messaging (Required)
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
- Basic knowledge of the full software development life cycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery (Required)
- Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues (Required)
- Must work on site

Duration of assignment is expected to be 50 weeks.
