Atlassian suite Engineer/Consultant - Jira, Confluence, HipChat (SC Eligible) - London - £350 - 400 p/d

Spargonet, an IT Services Company, is continuing its' relationship with one of the biggest names in Technology, and as such, we are seeking an experienced Support Engineer to join out team on site.

Our client is on the leading edge, carrying out a series of IT transformation projects for Government Departments to move Legacy architecture and systems into the 21st century, onto platforms which are efficient, flexible, extensible, and secure.

The consultant must be SC security cleared or be eligible for SC clearance which requires at least 5 years UK residency.

The successful candidate will own the deployment and management of the Atlassian suite of products including Jira, Confluence, HipChat.

This person must have experience working in a multi-vendor enterprise environment and be able to conduct themselves in a robust but fair manner winning the respect of their peers. Must be confident enough in their abilities and personality to provide technical leadership.

Mandatory skills:

1) The client is seeking an experienced, confident, hands-on Support Engineer/consultant with Confluence, Jira experience, and HipChat
2) Atlassian Suite of products
3) SC Security clearance or eligibility for SC clearance

4) Change management
5) Version control
6) Automated testing
Infrastructure as code
1) Monitoring
2) Deployment
3) Puppet (plus alternatives)
4) Cloud based infrastructures (IAAS, PAAS)

Nice to have but not essential is knowledge of some of the following:

1) Java
2) Security and Networks
3) JBOSS
4) UNIX
5) Databases
6) Knowledge of a DevOps environment
