Atlassian Developer (1635)

For a six month project at our client site in Zurich we are looking for an experienced

ATLASSIAN DEVELOPER (1635)

The role is for a strong Atlassian developer to be working on the Atlassian tools stack (Jira/Confluence/Greenhopper/etc) which is a core part of the solution delivery tool chain.

The role will initially focus on the convergence of the multiple global instances to better support across regions and functional areas, working with solution engineers to better integrate the products both upstream towards business engineering, modelling, test case management, and downstream towards development, build, testing, and deployment.

Provide 3rd line support for the Atlassian products instances in Production.

-Strong Atlassian tool stack developer, with focus on Jira, Confluence, Greenhopper but strong understanding of FishEye/Crucible & Crowd.
-Application development background with a focus on Java products (written or maintained)
-Unix/Linux application debugging and tuning, (stack dumps, memory trace, network analysis)
-Intranet services skills, LDAP, JDBC (prefer Oracle), 2-way SSL (client certificates), SMTP
-Source code management experience (prefer Subversion/Git)
-Proficient in Perl/Python
-Proficient in Javascript, CSS, HTML and associated browser based tooling
-Self-starter but needs to work very effectively as a team member
-Strong communication skills especially across locations
-Agile (Kanban and/or Scrum) experience desirable

- Maven/Gradle
- Groovy/Grails
- Apache/Tomcat/Jetty/Lucene/Web Service (REST/SOAP-XML)/Play
